Sony Ericsson Equinox Ocean Blue Review

The Sony Ericsson Equinox – Ocean Blue is a stylish flip phone carried by T-Mobile, who added some of their unique features, such as a pulsating light so that you can see that your phone is ringing. With this handset you will get fast connections through the T-Mobile 3G network. With high speed Internet you can connect to social networking sites quickly, plus you will get GPS that works with Google Maps.

Some additional features that come with the Sony Ericsson Equinox – Ocean Blue include a 3.2-megapixel camera. With this camera you can record video and upload it to YouTube right from your phone. In addition to this feature, there is also a built in FM radio, as well as stereo Bluetooth.

These are all nice features, but there are still more. With the Equinox Ocean Blue you can expand the memory by way of a memory stick, plus you get support for email, and a very nice digital music player. There are also several messaging options, personal organization tools and a speakerphone. With the messaging capabilities that come with this phone you can access instant messaging applications, such as Yahoo Messaging, AOL, and Windows Live. Mobile email is another useful feature that comes with the Equinox. With this tool you can access your email right from your phone so you are not tied to your office. Of course you will also get some nice personal organization tools, such as a calendar, and notebook, plus much more.

This attractive phone measures 3.8 x 2 x 0.6 inches, and weighs 3.3 ounces. The battery life is rated for 10 hours of talk time and 16 days of standby time, which is really very good for a device that offers so many extra features.

With the Sony Ericsson Equinox cell phone, you not only get 3G, but it also supports EDGE, which means that in areas where there is no 3G coverage, you can still connect to the Internet. With a fast Internet connection, it is possible to download email faster, download files such as ringtones and wallpapers, plus it makes it easy to view content heavy websites. You can also view streaming video on YouTube and other sites more easily with a faster connection. With this handset you will be able to do just about anything you could do with a laptop or PC.

If you are looking for a unique, high quality phone, you’ll definitely want to consider the Sony Ericsson Equinox Blue.

I was impressed

If you're looking for something to replace every other device you own, this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for a smarter flip phone, you've found it.

Good start up phone

Decent start-up phone but could be much better (expecting users to sign up for internet plan). Really difficult to hear ringtones although the lights on the outside are pretty cool.
