Samsung Strive Review

The Samsung Strive is a slide phone that gives you everything you need for staying in touch. Measuring 4.17 x 2.15 x 0.58 inches deep, it is slightly thick, but still compact enough it will easily slip into your pocket. Although this phone might feel a little chunky, it is very lightweight at 3.99 ounces.

On the front of the Samsung Strive is a 2.6-inch screen that provides a bright and beautiful picture. Along with easy to use controls, the Strive also comes with a QWERTY keyboard that is not difficult to use, though it may appear a little cramped when you first see it.
Some of the features that you’ll get with the Samsung Strive include a phonebook that will accommodate up to 1,000 contacts, plus you can assign photos and ringtones to callers. A few of the basic features that come with this handset include a task list, a calendar, and a world clock. In addition, you will also get Bluetooth, as well as USB file transfers.
With the Samsung Strive putting so much focus on messaging you get a variety of methods of sending messages to your contacts, including text and multimedia messaging, as well as instant messaging, and email service.
For taking pictures while on the go, the Samsung Strive is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera that comes with a number of different settings. In addition to taking still photos, this camera will also record video, though you only get video in one resolution. To store your files this phone comes with 90MB of internal storage, but you can also expand the phone’s memory via a microSD card. Staying entertained is easy with the Strive, as you will also get access to streaming music, video, and radio.
The call quality that you get with the Samsung Strive is basically good most of the time, though there are times when callers’ voices might sound a little robotic. Music and video load quickly and the quality is very good.
The battery rating for this phone isn’t great; it is rated for 3 hours of talk time and over 19 days of standby time, though with average use you will probably get a longer talk time with the Strive Samsung.
There is no doubt that the best feature you’ll get is the price, and a cheap Samsung Strive isn’t difficult to find, especially on contract. Before you buy you will likely want to compare Samsung Strive features to similar phones to ensure you are getting the best deal for what you want in a mobile phone.
