Samsung Seek Review
By admin on July 28th, 2011
Although the Samsung Seek is basically a messaging phone that also comes with some social networking features, it does feature a touchscreen display. Touchscreens are not too common with low budget or midrange phones, so the fact that this midrange handset comes with a touchscreen is somewhat refreshing.
With the Samsung Seek you’ll get a compact and lightweight phone that will easily slip into your pocket or purse. This phone measures 4.1 x 2.1 x 0.6 inches and weighs only 3.9 ounces. On the front of this handset is a 2.6-inch touchscreen. Although this is small compared to many touchscreen displays, it is still bright enough that it’s easy to see. When you slide the phone open there is a QWERTY keyboard so sending email and text messages is a quick and easy task.
Some of the features that you’ll get with the Samsung Seek include a phonebook that will hold up to 600 contacts. There is also a speakerphone, voice dialing, a calendar, as well as text and multimedia messaging, and several additional features that are basic to most mobile phones. A few of the more advanced features that come with the Seek by Samsung include Bluetooth, GPS, as well as a browser that supports HTLM.
For multimedia features the Samsung Seek comes with a built in 1.3-megapixel camera that include several settings. The photo quality is average for a camera phone. You can also buy additional apps and games to download to this phone.
The call quality of the Samsung Seek is really very good. Voices sound natural and are loud and clear. The battery life of this handset is rated for 5.8 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time.
The Samsung Seek is a high quality touch screen phone available at a midrange price. It’s true that you won’t get all of the features that you would get with a smartphone, but the Seek is a great feature phone.
