Samsung Moment with Google Review
By admin on March 23rd, 2010
The Samsung Moment with Google is one of the newest Google Android phones to come on the market. This is a high quality phone that provides more than enough features to satisfy most people, plus it offers good call quality.
With the Samsung Moment you get a stylishly designed phone that measures 4.6 x 2.34 x 0.63, and it is heavy, weighing 5.67 ounces. This is quite a bulky phone and you will notice it as soon as you pick it up; the Moment doesn’t easily fit in your pocket, which can be a problem if you have to carry your phone with you. The touchscreen on the Samsung Moment measures 3.2-inches; this isn’t the biggest touchscreen you can get, but it is large enough to easily navigate.
When you slide open the Samsung Moment cell phone you’ll see a roomy keyboard; this keyboard makes it easy to send text messaging and email. There is also enough room to store numerous contacts, plus you can assign a photo to your contacts for caller ID purposes. This makes it easy to see who is calling you with a simple glance at your display.
The Samsung Moment with Google offers several email options, as well as text and multimedia messaging. The basic core features that you get with the Moment cell phone include a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, and a calculator, in addition to an alarm clock. For advanced features this device comes with instant messaging, WiFi, as well as Visual Voice Mail. There is also built in GPS that works with Google Maps, plus if you want even more applications, you do get access to the Android Market.
Some fun features that come with the Samsung Moment include access to YouTube videos, and a nice music player. For the music player you have access to the Amazon MP3 store so you can buy as much music as you want.
Included with the Samsung Moment cell phone is a 3.2-megapixel camera; although you don’t get a lot of extra options with this camera, you do get decent photo quality, plus you can also record video.
For browsing the Internet you get a full HTML browser, so staying connected to the web isn’t a problem at all. Call quality with the Moment is fair, but there may be some problems hearing in a really noisy environment. With this being a 3G phone you get speedy data transfer, which is great if you are watching streaming videos.
If you want an all around phone, the Samsung Moment with Google is a good option. You will get just about everything you need in a smartphone, plus more.
