If you are searching for a new phone that fits your budget, the Moto EM330 is a mid level mobile phone that you can get for a reasonable price, or possibly even free. These days not a lot of people have the money to throw away on fancy mobile phones; fortunately there are some cell phone manufacturers that recognize this and have released some affordable devices.
One of the main focuses of the Motorola EM330 Moto is music; it features a built in equalizer with 11 presets, plus it offers 3D sound along with a built in radio. Some additional music features that you get with this phone include SongID technology. With this technology if you happen to hear a song that you like on the radio, you can easily identify that song. The EM330 Moto comes with 20MB of internal memory, but there is a microSD slot that allows you to expand that memory up to 2GB.
Some of the other features that come with the Motorola Moto EM330 include the CrystalTalk technology, plus there is a 1.3-megapixel camera. There is also support for Bluetooth, in addition to a mobile web browser.
With the Motorola EM330 Moto flip you get a phone constructed of hard plastic, and although it does feel a little low quality due to its construction, the finish actually adds to the look of this phone. The EM330 measures 3.7 x 2.0 x 0.7 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces. There is an external screen that shows a clock so that you don’t have to open your phone to see what time it is, unfortunately the text on the external screen can be slightly difficult to see.
When you open the Motorola Moto there is a 1.8-inch LCD display, and although this type of screen was common several years ago, today most phones have a higher resolution screen, though it does still provide a bright picture.
Even though there is no support for 3G, the Moto EM330 is a tri-band device with EDGE. You also get some core features such as a personal organizer with a calendar, and alarm, as well as a voice memo feature, and a speakerphone. Some additional features that come with this phone include 35 ringtones and access to several popular web based email programs. Sending text and email is made easier with the QWERTY keyboard.
The 1.3-megapixel camera that is included with the EM330 also records video, but unfortunately there is no flash so photos and video taken in poor lighting may be blurry and dark.
AT&T is offering the Motorola Moto EM330 for free if you sign a 2-year contract, which is a great deal for this phone.
