Motorola Krave ZN4 Review
By admin on March 23rd, 2010
Those who like their gadgets to have an extreme high tech look to them will love the Motorola Krave ZN4. This mobile phone resembles a space age communicator, but that’s not all, it also offers some innovative features and design.
The Krave Motorola is one of the most uniquely designed cell phones on the market; it is compact and thin, measuring 4.13 x 2 x 0.75 inches and weighs 4.59 ounces. The Krave features a touchscreen and a clear plastic casing, which is what gives it such a fun and futuristic appearance. Not only does the cover look great, but also you can actually access a lot of the phone’s features by simply touching certain areas of the phone. You can actually make calls using voice command, without even opening the phone.
When you open the Motorola ZN4 Krave you will see a nice 2.8-inch screen that supports 65,000 colors. Although this display is bright and colorful, it is a little difficult to see if you are in direct sunlight, but this is a problem with many mobile phones.
The Krave offers an easy to use interface, and when running applications there is very little lag, if any. To send text messages and email, the Krave features a numeric keypad, as well as a full, virtual QWERTY keyboard. When using the QWERTY keyboard, sending text messages and email is simple and easy.
Some of the features that you get with the Motorola Krave include a phonebook that will hold 1,000 contacts, plus this phone offers some basic features such as a vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging, in addition to a calendar, an alarm clock, and a calculator. There is also a notepad, a world clock, and a tip calculator.
For advanced features you will get Bluetooth, access to various email clients, as well as Visual Voice Mail. There are also a variety of multimedia options; with this phone you can watch streaming video, listen to music, as well as surf the Internet.
For taking pictures the Motorola Krave ZN4 has a built in 2-megapixel camera, though the photo quality you get from this camera will probably be a disappointment. Pictures come out too bright, and the colors look faded. The browser that comes with the Krave is sufficient for browsing the web, but it isn’t the best browsing experience you can get from a mobile phone.
The call quality is great, as it is with most Motorola phones; you can hear callers loud and clear, even when using the speakerphone. The battery life of the Krave Motorola is rated for 4.2 hours of talk time and 20.8 days of standby time.
The Motorola Krave ZN4 is a futuristic smartphone that offers a performance that is as high tech as its appearance.
