Motorola i920 Review

If you are the type of person that likes to be on the move, you’ll probably like the i920 by Motorola. When you take this phone with you while you travel, your friends and family can contact you no matter where you are.



Some of the features you’ll get with the Motorola i920 phone include the ability to synchronize with your Outlook contacts, tasks and calendar, which is a great way of keeping in contact with business associates. There is also a web browser that makes it possible to download more applications and tools. You can also download ringtones, MP3 and video files. For taking photographs while you are on the move, the i920 Motorola comes with a VGA camera; the quality of the pictures will not be great, but they are probably good enough for getting those unexpected snapshots.



Of course you do get many of the benefits that come with having a Windows based smartphone, plus you can expand the phone’s memory with a memory card, in additionally, you can record and playback video.



For call management features you get call waiting, three-way calling, and call forwarding; basically the i920 by Motorola offers you everything you need to stay connected while you are away from home. With this phone you can store up to 600 contacts; assigning several phone numbers to each contact, as well as email and more. Some additional features that come with this handset include VibraCall, Turbo Dial, and Voice Recognition. One of the most popular features of the Motorola phones is the Push to Talk feature, which is very useful for keeping in touch without having to use minutes from your calling plan. You will also have the choice of using text and multimedia messaging.



For staying connected to the Internet you get the Pocket Internet Explorer browser, and you can use this phone as a portable modem. There is Pocket Windows Media Player 10 so you can listen to your favorite music, or watch videos, no matter where you are. The i920 does support Java so you should have no problem with download and using Java based applications to this phone.



Another nice feature is the built in assisted GPS; with this you can find your way around, no matter where you are, which is a nice extra to have with your cell phone if you travel a lot.



The i920 by Motorola is the perfect mobile phone to have if you travel a great deal. It is reliable, and offers all of the features that you need in a phone.
