Motorola i776 Reviews

The i776 by Motorola comes in a very attractive design of burgundy and silver. Although many Nextel phones do have a protective rubber finish, you won’t find this with the Motorola i776, but you will get all of the usual Nextel features. You also won’t get a great display with this handset, which isn’t unusual for these phones. What you get is an easy to use phone that provides performance, and does what it is meant to do.

In some ways the i776 Motorola is much the same as other Nextel models; it has an extendable antenna, and a small external display, but you will find some differences in design with this phone. Instead of the black rubber finish, which is the usual design, you get a slick and glossy finish in a burgundy color. In addition to the break in design for the casing, the i776 by Motorola is compact, measuring 3.39 x 1.8 x 0.8 inches and weighing only 3.56 ounces.

Some of the features you’ll get with the Motorola i776 include enough room for up to 600 contacts, plus you can add up to 7 phone numbers, an email address, plus much more for each contact. There is also support for text and multimedia messaging, a vibrate mode, and a speakerphone. In addition to these features you will get Bluetooth and voice dialing, as well as call forwarding.

Of course with the i776 by Motorola you also get the Nextel Direct Connect PTT services and Direct Talk, plus more. One feature that you get with this phone that you don’t find with all of the Nextel phones is a VGA camera, but there is no flash or video recording capabilities. You will also find that the photo quality is not too good either.

Although you can’t do a lot of personalization with this phone, you can change the theme, wallpaper and alert tones; you can even download new ones if those that come with the i776 are not what you want. The i776 Motorola also comes with a wireless web browser, mobile email, as well as GPS. With the GPS you can get a subscription with TeleNav for navigation service.

The call quality is fairly good; there shouldn’t be any problems with the signal and the audio comes through loud and clear, with the speakerphone also providing good quality sound. You will get about 4 hours of talk time with the i776 before needing to recharge the battery.

If you want a good quality cell phone that does what it should, you will want to take a look at the i776 by Motorola. This is a sturdy, high quality phone.

A couple of dropped calls, but not bad. This phone works. It's compact and it fits in your pocket easily. Strong signal reception! Battery life not the greatest, but have car charger, so when travelling it is charging in car. Problem solved.

The sound quality was great. Battery life seems extra long which is another plus. The design is stilish and neat. Texting is good. Color screen a bonus, lots of ring tones and screen savers.
