Motorola Droid Razr Review
By Blake Sanders on December 9th, 2011
Well one of the eye opening things about the phone is its solidity. You might expect something that is this thin to feel a bit flimsy, but it doesn’t. It packs a lot of power too, offering a 1.2GHz processor – a dual core one too – and a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display. If you tend to be one of those people who easily damage their phones, you’ll be pleased to hear that the Motorola Droid Razr is able to repel water and is also scratch resistant. Small it might be, but it is certainly stronger than it looks.

The Razr is just 0.28 inches thick, measuring 5.14 inches in length and 2.71 inches wide. Super skinny phones have always been the remit of Motorola. But the thickness of this one doesn’t allow for the slightly thicker section at the top of the phone. This is where you’ll find the camera sensors so there is a good reason for it, but it does detract a little from the flat design. It’s hard to believe that the Razr has been around in various formats since 2004, but this new Droid Razr makes you wonder whether they can actually go any thinner than they have already. The phone must surely pack in enough features and advantages to keep you interested – otherwise it is just about the thinness.
You can get the phone on Verizon and you can also look forward to using Android, so you can see that the Droid Razr has a lot packed underneath its slim and attractive hood. The full size screen is complimented by just four integral buttons situated underneath it. These allow you to get to the Home and Menu screens at the touch of a button. The other two buttons allow you to go back and to search.
In terms of whether Motorola have improved the Razr phone once again with the issue of the Motorola Droid Razr, the answer has to be yes. There is plenty to discover here that will please you, not least the on board camera and high definition video capability. Be prepared to explore for plenty more benefits.
