Motorola Droid Pro Review

Some of the features that you’ll get with the Motorola Droid Pro include a physical QWERTY keyboard, enhanced security features, as well as a touchscreen, and a number of apps. With all of these features combined, the Droid Pro is one of the best choices available for the business user. This phone definitely gives the BlackBerry some competition.

The Motorola Droid Pro comes in a compact design, measuring 4.69 x 2.36 x 0.46 inches and weighs 4.36 ounces. This isn’t the most compact smartphone on the market, but it is still small enough to stick in your pocket. On the front of the Droid Pro is a 3.1-inch touchscreen. The display on this phone is a little small for a touchscreen, and the colors are not quite as vivid as they are with many other touchscreens.
With the Motorola Droid Pro you get world roaming as well as support for 3G when you are overseas. You will also get a number of security features that are not available on other Android phones, such as the ability to remotely erase your data in case you should ever lose your phone.
Some additional features that you get with the Motorola Droid Pro include a media player that supports a number of different audio and video file formats. This phone also comes with QuickOffice Mobile Suite so that it’s easy to stay productive while on the go, plus you’ll get Skype Mobile.
For taking pictures, the Motorola Droid Pro comes with a built in 5-megapixel camera that includes dual LED flash. This camera will record video as well as take still photos. The photo quality is okay, but does have a tendency to be too dark when taking pictures indoors or in poor lighting. The video quality is fair, but could be better.
The battery rating for this phone is 6.5 hours of talk time and up to 13 days of standby time. Call quality is good most of the time, but does sound muffled in some cases.
