One of its latest releases is the Motorola Droid Bionic and this device comes with an array of truly impressive features that should provide users of the handset with everything they need from their smartphone.
Like many of the other new smartphones that Motorola has released recently the Motorola Droid Bionic comes with all the latest advancements in technology and this will make it one of the most sought after handsets out there. Included on the Motorola Droid Bionic are amazing features like:- A new Super-fast 1GHz TI OMAP processor that can deliver incredibly fast response when accessing websites, apps and various other functions
- A huge 4.3 inch qHD display that almost matches the quality of the Super AMOLED Plus displays from Samsung in terms of image, colour depth and speed
- 4G mobile broadband access using Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology for super-fast internet access or data downloads
- Android Gingerbread v2.3.4 operation system that has been slightly modified and includes a number of pre-installed apps, some of which users may find quite useful and some not so useful
- Rear 8 megapixel camera that allows users to take some incredible pictures and also provides video capture at pure HD 1080p quality
With all the latest technology packed into the Motorola Droid Bionic there is little surprise that the device offers plenty of great features that will guarantee users will find plenty to use the phone for. It does, however, also have a small number of issues that may affect whether or not users will go for this handset
Pros
- High speed performance: With a combination of its fast processor, high quality screen and well designed Android OS the Motorola Droid Bionic offers almost unrivalled speeds when using apps, viewing pictures or video and browsing the web
- 4G LTE access: Compared to 3G services the new 4G LTE mobile broadband access offer a significant increase in both download and upload speeds
- Cosmetic design: With a thickness of just 13.3mm and a weight of just 5.5 ounces the Motorola Droid Bionic is definitely one of the thinnest LTE phones around and it is quite light for a handset of this specification
Con
- Battery life: Like most Android devices this handset can consume huge amounts of battery power when being used heavily with a fully charged battery lasting under 4 hours when using things like 4G radio
- Heat issues: During heavy use the Motorola Droid Bionic can sometimes get too hot to actually hold although this doesn’t happen too often due to its short battery life
- Handset cost: Whilst this cell phone comes with the latest high-spec technology the cost of the handset even on a contract could be a bit too high for users looking for a smartphone on a budget
