With all of the messaging phones on the market, a mobile has to have some great qualities in order to stand out from the crowd. This is the case with the LG Xenon Blue; this mobile phone has some fantastic messaging capabilities, as well as several other high quality features.
The LG Blue Xenon does not look all that unique; in fact, it resembles a lot of the other messaging phones that are available to the consumer. The Xenon measures 4.16 X 2.11 X 0.62 inches and weighs only 3.18 ounces. This phone is lightweight enough that it is comfortable to hold in your hand, plus it is compact enough that it will easily slip into your pocket.
On the front of this phone is a 2.8-inch touchscreen display that provides a great viewing experience with brilliant color and a sharp picture. Navigation of the user interface on the Xenon is done entirely through the touchscreen, plus there is a slide out QWERTY keyboard for sending text messages.
Some of the features that you get with the blue LG Xenon include a phonebook that will hold up to 500 contacts; this isn’t a lot compared to the standard of most cell phones today, but in most cases 500 is more than enough. Along with the phonebook there are also some basic features included with the Xenon. You will get a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, in addition to text and multimedia messaging. There is also a calendar, an alarm clock, plus a calculator, a voice recorder, and voice command, plus more.
For advanced features the LG Xenon phone comes with Bluetooth, email access, Assisted GPS, as well as instant messaging capabilities. There is also a full HTML browser so you can surf the Internet directly from your mobile phone. With 3G, download speeds are fast, plus you can watch streaming video and listen to live radio.
If that isn’t enough entertainment, you can also bring along your favorite music on the LG Xenon Blue; this phone features 80GB of internal memory, but you can expand the memory by way of a microSD card.
Another multimedia feature that comes with this phone is a built in 2-megapixel camera that takes still photos, as well as records video. The photo quality is very good for a mobile phone camera.
The call quality of the LG Blue Xenon is fair, but you should expect some static; call quality on the speakerphone is impressive; voices sound natural and loud. The battery life is rated for 4 hours of talk time and 11 days of standby time.
The LG Xenon Blue is definitely one of the best messaging focused cell phones available, not only because of the messaging features, but also because all the other extras that come with this phone.
