LG VX8360 Review

The LG VX8360 is a mobile phone with a traditional clamshell design; this device is the upgrade from the LG VX8350, and although the style is slightly different, the features are almost identical. Due to the fact that little has changed in what was offered with the previous model, if you already have one there is little reason to buy the LG-VX8360.

With the LG VX8360 you get a cell phone that looks a little less sophisticated, but sportier than the VX8350; this phone measures 3.64 x 1.91 x 0.78 inches and weighs 3.38 ounces. This phone is fairly light and with soft, rounded edges it is comfortable to hold in your hand.

The external display on the LG VX8360 measures 1.17-inches and it shows information such as time and date, signal strength, as well as caller ID. This display is also the self-portrait viewer, as well as where you will see the album art when using the music player. When you flip open the phone there is a 2-inch display with support for up to 262,000.

When you first see the cell phones LG VX8360, they look just like any other clamshell phone, but they are not as ordinary as they look. With the VX8360 you will get quite a number of features; this includes a phonebook that will hold up to 1.000 contacts, as well as a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, text and multimedia messaging. There is also a calculator, a tip calculator, in addition to an alarm clock, plus more.

Some of the advanced features that come with the LG VX8360 cell phones include instant message support for Yahoo, AIM, and MSM. You will also get a mobile web browser, as well as access to email, and voice commands. For hands free use there is Bluetooth, plus you get Assisted GPS; this is a great feature to have if you like to travel, but hate getting lost.

Some extras that come with this phone include V Cast so you can watch streaming video and music from your mobile, plus there is a built in 1.3-megapixel camera included. The quality of the photos that you get with this camera is a little disappointing, but it is adequate for getting those unexpected shots. In addition to taking still photos, this camera also records video.

With the “Voice Clarity” feature that comes with the LG VX8360, there is no problems with call quality, even when using speakerphone. The sound quality of the music player is also very good.

The battery is rated for 5.26 hours of talk time and 26.7 days of standby. If you are looking for a simple phone that offers you a lot of high-end features, you will want to consider the LG VX8360 cell phones.
