LG Shine 2 Review

The LG Shine II comes in a sophisticated design and offers some really nice features. Some of what you’ll get with the LG Shine 2 phone includes a 2.2-inch display, a music player, and Bluetooth; there is also a 2-megapixel camera that comes with built in flash.

With this mobile phone you will also have a connection to the Internet so that you can access Social Networking sites, and use Instant Messenger applications to keep in touch with friends and family, no matter where you are.

Some of the features you’ll get with the LG Shine II include a phonebook that will hold up to 1000 contacts, plus you can assign photos to your contacts for Caller ID purposes. When someone calls, you can see who it is right away. Of course you also get an array of basic features such as an alarm clock, a calendar, and a note pad, plus there is a calendar, a tip calculator, and a speakerphone, plus more.

The advanced features that come with the LG Shine 2 include Bluetooth, voice commands and dialing; there is also a voice recorder and file manager. In addition, there is a built in assisted GPS, and access to email.

Included with the LG Shine II is a built in 2-megapixel camera with flash; this camera does offer a few advanced features, as well as being able to record video. You will get 100MB of internal storage as well as a microSD slot so that you can expand the phone’s memory.

You will get a lot of options as far as multimedia services due to the fact that this is a 3G phone; you get access to streaming video as well as music downloads. This phone also offers support for Java based programs so that you will have access to the Weather Channel, Mobile Banking and more.

The call quality you get with the LG Shine 2 is okay, but could be better. Some problems you might find when making calls include an inconsistent signal, and having to turn the volume up in order to hear the person on the other end.

The battery life of the LG Shine II is rated for over 3 hours of talk time and about 12 days of standby time.

The LG Shine II is an attractive phone that offers some great features, but due to the fact that there are some problems with signal and call quality, it might be a good idea to look around before making the final decision to buy this phone.

Good looking phone, sturdy metal case, may be the cause of previous reception issues. Although it sounds good I don't think I will take a chance on the reception issues. Shame nice phone.

After reading about the issues with reception in the past, No Thank You, but very very tempted to buy to see for myself.
