LG Lotus Review

Although the LG Lotus isn’t officially a smartphone, it is very close to being in that category. The design of this phone is very compact and stylish and the finish is very attractive with large keys so they are easy to use. Inside there is a QVGA screen that provides a sharp and colorful picture.

The LG Lotus phone provides some fantastic calling options, but the call quality probably isn’t as good as it should be. You basically have to turn the volume all the way up in order to hear the person on the other end, and still they will sound a little far off. You will get about 5.5 hours of talk time before you need to recharge the phone.

One nice feature of the LG Lotus cell phone is that you get a dedicated voice-dialing button; there is also a speakerphone and conference calling. This phone is very pleasant to use for messaging due to its large keyboard and numerous messaging options. You will find that the Lotus provides for all types of messaging, including Instant Messaging and email, text and multimedia messaging. Some of the Instant Messaging applications that are supported include Yahoo Messaging, AIM, and MSM.

There are also some nice multimedia features with this phone; you will have access to streaming video so you can watch clips. There is 512MB microSD card included with the Lotus so you will have room to store your favorite music and bring it along with you wherever you go. Music playback is nice, but video playback isn’t quite as good. Video is a little sticky when trying to play.

Although the browser that you get with the LG Lotus is adequate and will enable you to surf the Internet with your phone, it doesn’t really compare with the browsers that are coming with some smartphones today.

The 2-megapixel camera that comes with this phone is okay, but not the best. The camera would be a lot better if they would include auto focus and LED flash, though there are some options for uploading your photos to different sites.

One nice feature of the LG Lotus is that you get Sprint Navigation so you will have turn-by-turn navigation. This is a good feature to have if you like to travel. Considering the many features that come with it, the LG Lotus is offered at a fair price, though you could probably find other mobiles that have the same options but at a lower price.

The LG Lotus cell phone is nice phone, though for the price the call quality doesn’t quite meet expectations, but if you can get this phone discounted it is probably worth buying.

The Lotus is a very good phone for all kinds of messaging. Large keys help with less mistakes, which the Lotus has and also it has a very nice feel about it. Good design, easy to carry in your pocket.

The Lotus provides for all types of messaging, including Instant Messaging, email and text and multimedia messaging. The call quality is not that brilliant, it is fairly muted. The design of this phone however is very compact and stylish it also has large keys for the larger fingered operator.
