LG Lotus Elite Review
By admin on March 8th, 2010
The LG Lotus Elite is the new and improved Lotus; it comes in an unusual square design that is a bit sleeker than the previous model. Another major difference is that the exterior screen is now a touchscreen so that you can access messaging features and your contact list without even having to open up the phone.
Although the LG Lotus Elite phone has many of the same features as the Lotus, you now get access to some Social Networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. There is no doubt that the square LG Lotus Elite phone is a fashion statement; this stylish phone measures 3.43 x 2.44 x 0.75 inches and there is a 2.4-inch exterior touchscreen. Another unique design aspect of this phone is that the external display actually has animated wallpaper.
When you flip open the Lotus Elite you’ll find a 2.4-inch display, though it is not a touchscreen. Below the display and navigation buttons is a full QWERTY keyboard that features spacious keys that make typing out messages simple and easy.
With the LG Lotus Elite Black you get enough room in your phonebook for a 1000 contacts, plus some basic core features such as a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, plus an alarm clock, a calendar, and a calculator. There is also a notepad, a world clock, plus a stopwatch. Some of the advanced features include voice command and voice dialing, as well as a voice recorder. You will also get Bluetooth, a document viewer and web browser.
One of the main focuses of the LG Lotus Elite phone is messaging; not only do you get text and multimedia messaging, but there is also access to instant messaging through Yahoo Mail, MSM, and AIM. You will also have access to your email, including the web based email providers.
With Sprint TV, you get access to on demand TV, plus there is a feature for streaming radio. There is also a music player with the Elite so that you can take along your favorite music, even when you are on the go.
The LG Lotus Elite features a built in 2.0-megapixel camera that has several photography modes. You can also record video with this phone, but the photo and video quality isn’t as good as you would get with a stand-alone camera.
As for call quality, the Lotus Elite fairs well, calls come through loud and clear with no distortion and there is a strong signal in most places. The audio quality of the music player is also very good.
The LG Lotus Elite is the perfect choice if you want a stylish mobile that puts a lot of emphasis on messaging features.
