LG eXpo GW820 Reviews

The LG eXpo is a Windows slider phone that has a sophisticated and high tech look, with the features to match, plus it is designed to include an optional pico projector. The LG eXpo phone is solidly built and feels great when you are holding it in your hand. Some of the features that are included with this phone are a little different, such as the optical scanner, which is also a fingerprint scanner.
The slide out on the eXpo is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, when closed this phone measures 4.45 x 2.16 x 0.63 inches and weighs 5.2 ounces. Although the LG eXpo GW820 is slightly big, it doesn’t make it a problem to carry with you or hold in your hand. The keyboard is easy to use so sending email and text messages will be a quick and simple task.
There is no doubt that the LG eXpo comes with a nice display; you get a 3.2-inch 480x800 WVGA resistive touchscreen that gives you fantastic image quality. Some of the features that come with the eXpo include WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. This phone uses Windows Mobile 6.5 so you will have access to all of the features that comes with Windows, including Office Mobile Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite.
You will also get a built in 5.0-megapixel camera that takes some fairly good pictures for a phone camera, plus it can also record video. The video quality is about the same as the photo quality; it isn’t bad but maybe not as good as some camera phones within the same class.
The call quality of the LG eXpo is really quite nice, there are no reception problems and the audio comes through good, as far as its mobile phone ability, this handset does the job sufficiently. You will also find that it performs well when running applications with little to no lag. With 3G you can download very quickly, and the browser performs nicely as well.
Although there does seem to be some problems with the touchscreen at times, the LG eXpo phone has some serous potential to be a top of the line handset, if the bugs are worked out. As it is now it is really a mid range phone, but the pricing is a little higher than a lot of phones in its class.
Aside from the LG eXpo price being a little above what it should be, and the problem with the touchscreen, this is really a very nice phone with a lot of great features. If you can get the eXpo at a discount, this could be a good option for anyone thinking of getting a new phone.
