LG enV Touch Review

It’s true that this compact and thin mobile is no iPhone, the LG ENV Touch does offers a surprising number of great features. The Touch measures 4.5 x 2.2 x 0.7 inches and weighs 4.9 ounces, which is a little heavy for a flip phone.
With the LG ENV Touch VX11000 you get two 3-inch, LCD screens, though the internal display is not a touchscreen. Watching video on the Touch is very easy as you can set it on your desk or table and easily see the screen. The layout design of this phone makes it one of the easiest mobile’s to use, no matter if you are making calls or sending text messages. If you need to connect to the Internet the VX11000 can also work as a modem.
The call quality that you get with the LG ENV Touch phone is only fair; if you are not in a major city you may have some reception problems with this cell phone. Surfing the Internet with the Touch is great, especially considering it comes with a full HTML browser and high-speed page rendering.
In addition to all of these features, the LG ENV Touch also comes with built in GPS that supports voice, turn by turn directions. You do get threaded text messaging, but for anything extra, such as multimedia mail or email access, you will have to pay extra money.
For multimedia features the LG ENV Touch VX11000 has a great music player that offers superior sound quality, plus you can listen to V Cast for the latest and most popular music tracks, as well as watch some great TV shows.
With the LG ENV Touch you can also take pictures as it comes with a built in 3.2-megapixel camera that features auto focus, and LED flash. The photo quality is fair, but pictures do tend to look a little faded at times.
You will be able to get a good deal on the LG ENV Touch VX11000, as Verizon lowered their price not long after it launched this phone. This is no smartphone but the Touch offers more than enough features to satisfy the average user.
