LG Cosmos Touch Review

Although the LG Cosmos Touch does offer a touchscreen, it is only a little better than an entry-level feature phone. The touchscreen isn’t very responsive and the features that you get with this mobile are basically mid level. If you are looking for a good messaging phone, the Cosmos Touch does offer some great messaging features, but the price is probably a little high for what you get.

The compact design of the LG Cosmos Touch is nice. This phone measures 4.05 x 2.08 x 0.65 inches and weighs 4.37 ounces. This mobile is compact and light enough to easily take with you wherever you go. The display is only 2.8 inches, which is really too small for a touchscreen, especially when you consider the screen size that you get with many other feature phones today. Fortunately you can access a physical keyboard by sliding the phone open.
Some of the basic features that you get with the LG Cosmos Touch include a phonebook that will hold up to 1,000 contacts, a vibrate mode, voice command, and a speakerphone. There is also a calculator, voice record, notepad, etc. For slightly more advanced features the Cosmos Touch comes with Bluetooth, GPS, as well as a mobile web browser. Of course you also get support for email, text and multimedia messaging, as well as instant messaging through Windows Live Messenger, AOL, and Yahoo. In addition to these features you will also get instant access to a number of social networking sites.
For multimedia features the LG Cosmos Touch comes with a built in 1.3-megapixel camera that does come with a few extra options such as zoom, but you should not expect great quality photos from this camera. There is also a basic music player that supports MP3 file format. The Cosmos Touch comes with microSD slot so you can increase this phone’s memory up to 16 GB.
The call quality that you get with the LG Cosmos Touch is average at best. The battery is rated for 6 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time.
