LG Chocolate Touch Review

The LG Chocolate Touch is a touchscreen phone that carries the famous chocolate branding. This is a thin and stylish phone that features a fantastic touchscreen display that is very responsive and easy to use. The Chocolate LG touch is a music focused mobile that includes such features as Dolby Mobile equalizer, and a built in FM radio.



With the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 sports a design that is similar to other LG Chocolate phones; it measures 4.3 x 2.2 x 0.47 inches. You can change the look of the Chocolate Touch by changing the back plate. On the front of this phone is a 3-inch touchscreen that supports 262,000 colors so images look colorful and vibrant. Another nice feature with this display is that it comes with an accelerometer so the view on the screen will automatically shift positions as you move the phone’s position.



When the display is in landscape mode you get access to a full, virtual QWERTY keyboard; this keyboard is easy to use and makes sending text messages and email a simple process. Aside from the QWERTY keyboard, you can also use the alphanumeric keypad and handwriting recognition to enter text.



Some of the features you will get when you buy LG Chocolate Touch include a phonebook that will hold up to 1,000 contacts, plus there are some basic features such as a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, as well as threaded text and multimedia messaging, There is also voice messaging, a calendar, and an alarm clock, as well as a world clock, plus more. You even get a shortcut key to give you easy access to social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace.



With the LG Chocolate Touch you will also get some nice advanced features too; some of what you will get with this phone includes voice commands and voice dialing, Bluetooth, and Visual Voice Mail. There is also a nice browser, access to instant messaging, plus a built in GPS; this is an especially nice feature if you are someone that likes to travel.



For multimedia features the Touch has a built in 3.2-megapixel camera, along with a music player that offers some nice advanced features such as Dolby Mobile equalizer, as well as an FM radio. The sound quality of this music player is really very good.



Most of the time the call quality of the LG Chocolate Touch is very good, but you might encounter a little static. The battery life for this phone is rated at 5.1 hours of talk time and 19.6 days of standby time.
