LG CF360 Review
By admin on March 3rd, 2010
The LG CF360 is a slider phone that is affordable, looks great, plus offers some nice features. It’s true that you won’t get some of the best features with this phone, but for the price, what you do get isn’t too bad at all.
With the LG CF360 cell phone you’ll get a simple slide phone that isn’t flashy, or the most stylish looking phone you can get, but it is still nice. This phone measures 3.97 x 1.89 x 0.66 inches, and weighs about 3.5 ounces. On the front of the CF360 LG, is a 2-inch QVGA display with 65,000 colors and 240x320-pixel resolution. Although this isn’t the best display you can get with a phone, it does offer a clear and crisp picture with bright colors.
Some of the features that you get with the LG CF360 include room for up to 1000 contacts in your address book, plus you can add several types of contact information for each person, as well as a photo for use with the caller ID feature. Most of what you’ll get with the CF360 is basic, such as a vibrate mode, a speakerphone, as well as text and multimedia messaging. There is also an alarm clock, a notepad, and a calendar, plus a calculator, a world clock, a tip calculator. Fortunately there are some advanced features as well, including voice dialing, voice command, and a web browser.
For an easy method of keeping in touch with your online friends there is Instant Messaging support, you can access Windows Live, AIM, and Yahoo Messenger. You also get mobile email so you can access your web-based mail, plus there is Bluetooth and assisted GPS.
Surprisingly, you will also get 3G supports, which means that you can actually watch streaming video right from your phone. There is also a basic music player that supports a variety of file formats, including MP3, AMR-NB, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, and WMA.
The camera that’s included with this handset is a 1.3-megapixel, and although you are not likely to get the same quality photos that you would get with your stand-alone digital camera, you do get fair quality.
Call quality with the LG CF360 phone wasn’t bad at all, but when using the speakerphone it wasn’t quite as good. When watching streaming video you will probably notice some distortion, but they do download fast. The battery life of this phone is rated for 3 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time.
If you want a decent quality phone but don’t care much for the fancy smartphones, you might really like the inexpensive LG CF360. You will get some nice features with this phone, good call quality, and you get it all at a sweet price.
