HTC Tilt 2 Review

The HTC Tilt 2 is very much like the Touch Pro2, except that it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard. Although it is not too much different from the Touch Pro2, there are some variations in design. The HTC Tilt2 cell phone measures 4.54 x 2.33 x 0.65 inch and weighs 6.3 ounces, which is a little heavy for a mobile phone.

One of the most attractive features of the Tilt 2 is its large 3.6-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen. Not only can you view text and images in clear and vibrant color, but the screen features a built in accelerometer and proximity sensor. With such a large screen, browsing the Internet is easy, plus with Flash Lite support, you can view flash sites right from the browser without a problem.

Some additional features that are part of the HTC Tilt 2 upgrade include better and more useful tools, such as a lock screen that will show information such as missed calls, appointments, etc. The business user will be happy with the preloaded Microsoft Office Mobile Suite, which gives you the capability of viewing, as well as editing Microsoft documents, such as Word, and Excel; there is also a PDF viewer. In addition to this, you get support for Microsoft’s Push Technology; with this you can have access to your email in real time.

Another feature that makes the HTC Tilt2 so attractive for the professional is that it offers quad-band world roaming, which is important if you travel a lot. There is also speed dialing, voice command, three way dialing, and smart dialing. In addition to these calling features, you will also get a speakerphone and conference calling. For messaging, there is support for both text and multimedia messaging.

Along with Bluetooth the HTC Tilt2 cell phone features 3G connection options, as well as WiFi. There is also a built in GPS system, which is a great feature to have if you travel a lot.

The HTC Tilt2 has a built in 3.2-megapixel camera that includes a variety of different settings, including one that will let you use the camera as a video recorder. Unfortunately the picture quality isn’t the best, but it is adequate for getting those unexpected snapshots.

The call quality of the HTC Tilt2 is very good with call coming through loud and clear. The battery life is rated for 8.5 hours of talk time, and over 20 hours of standby time. A lot of reviews about HTC Tilt2 are favorable, and when you check out this phone for yourself, you’ll see why.

If you are in the market for a new smartphone, you may want to take a look at the HTC Tilt2 cell phone.

The key board is far easier to type on, and both the phone and speaker on the Tilt 2 is better. Overall I rate this the No.1 smart phone on the market at this moment in time. Good key board, and a handy tilting screen. The screen is really clear. Magic phone.
