HTC Thunderbolt Review
By Blake Sanders on July 26th, 2011
With the HTC Thunderbolt you’ll get a large phone, but it is solidly built, and offers durability. On the front of the Thunderbolt is a huge screen that displays pictures and video in vivid and brilliant color. Watching video and surfing the web with this phone will be a pleasant experience, especially with 4G speeds.

The Thunderbolt has WiFi, as well as several other high-end features with the HTC Thunderbolt. You will also get a fast connection when using this phone’s WiFi feature. Call quality is also fantastic. Calls come through crystal clear, even when using the speakerphone.
A couple of problems that you will encounter with the HTC Thunderbolt include the fact that it doesn’t come with support for Skype video calling, despite the popularity of this app, and it does drain the battery quickly. If you are only using 3G you should not need to charge the battery more than once a day, but with 4G the battery will be dead within 4 to 5 hours.
The HTC Thunderbolt will definitely give you a glimpse of the future of the smartphone. This device is very fast and offers superior performance. The Thunderbolt design is not too futuristic; in fact it is probably behind by a couple of years. If you don’t mind large phones then you should have no problem with the Thunderbolt, especially as the larger size allows for a larger display. On the other hand, if you prefer sleek and stylish, this might not be the phone for you.
Although you can use this phone much like you would a laptop or a tablet, the poor battery life means that the speed will not be a lot of use. If your battery is dead, it doesn’t matter what type of advanced features your phone has.
