HTC Rezound Review
By Samuel Cook on December 9th, 2011
You’ll see this reality coming into play with the HTC Rezound. However let’s not get too negative to start with – this mobile phone has an impressive 4G connection and a healthy 1.5GHz dual core processor under the hood, so you can see you’re getting some impressive hardware. It also boasts a 720 pixel display, which means you get clarity that just isn’t available on some other mobile phones with the same size screen. This is real high definition and it has to be said, it’s rather mesmerising.

So where do the negatives come in? Well, one of the main downsides is an issue with battery life. You get a 1,620mAh battery installed in the phone and it doesn’t seem to be powerful enough to handle the impressive array of features the phone offers. Just this one aspect could prove to be a major let down.
If we get back to the positives for a moment we can see that the HTC Rezound mobile phone also provides us with 1GB of RAM. So you should find that whatever you want to do with it, you won’t be left waiting around for the phone to catch up with your demands. You’ll be able to use the on board camera as well, although it doesn’t pack as much of a punch as the cameras you can find on other smartphones.
If you love your music you’ll be pleased to hear the phone is all set up and ready to use with Beats Audio. If you buy the phone you’ll find a set of iBeats headphones included with your purchase. This is obviously part of the reason why the price tag is as high as it is. It also makes the phone more appealing to people who love listening to music. If you count yourself among that number you’ll love the Rezound. If you don’t the phone has much less to offer than many other similarly priced (or cheaper) smartphones on the market.
If you want an HTC phone it is worth considering what the Rezound model has to offer. But when you have other models to choose from that offer more, it makes sense to ensure you look elsewhere before deciding on this one.
