HTC Imagio Review

The HTC Imagio is one of the smartphones available from Verizon wireless; unlike most of the carrier’s smartphones, this one does offers more in the area of multimedia; for example you will have access to Verizon’s V Cast music and videos, as well as their mobile TV service. In addition, this is also the carrier’s first Windows Mobile phone.

Some of the multimedia features you’ll get with the Imagio HTC phone include a 3.5-mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot so that you can expand the phone’s memory and carry around your favorite music with you. There is also a 5-megapixel camera, a stand so that you can set the phone down to watch videos, which is a real treat with this phone’s nice touchscreen.

Another great feature that comes with the Imagio HTC is WiFi, plus it features quad band GSM capabilities. Although the Imagio is not quite as fancy as most of the multimedia focused phones, it really isn’t too bad; it is designed to have smooth rounded edges and features a thick plastic casing. The highlight of course is its beautiful touchscreen.

The HTC Imagio measures 4.6 x 2.4 x 0.5 inches and weighs 5.25 ounces. When you pick this phone up you will quickly be able to tell that it is sturdily constructed and certainly isn’t one of those cheap mobiles that will fall apart the first time you drop it.

As already mentioned, one of the most stunning features of the Imagio is its 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen, which features up to 65,000-color at 480x800-pixel resolution. The screen has a smooth, glass surface and you can view both images and text that are crisp and clear.

With the HTC Imagio screen being so large you will enjoy viewing video and surfing through web pages. There is also a built in accelerometer so that you can view the screen in either portrait or landscape mode.

The many features that come with the Imagio HTC phone include the Microsoft Office tools, a PDF viewer, and many more applications that can help you stay productive, even when you are away from your office. In addition, you also get a nice camera, as well as access to mobile TV and a great multimedia player so that you can listen to music or view videos, no matter where you are. Some extras that are available with this phone include built in GPS and Bluetooth; both of these features are very popular today.

With the HTC Imagio, you get a smartphone that is great for business, and a lot of multimedia features that ensure that it is also a nice mobile for personal use. If you want to buy HTC Imagio, you might be able to get some great deals from Verizon through a contract.

I found the battery life a little lacking, but the rest of the phones abilities are great. The touchscreen is very accurate, and the call quality excellent.
