HTC HD7 Review

With the HTC HD7 you don’t just get a mobile phone but you get a mobile device for multimedia and gaming, which makes the larger display on this phone a very attractive feature.

The HTC HD7 is a stylish phone that will certainly catch your eye, but it is quite large measuring 4.8 x 2.7 x 0.4 inches and weighs 5.7 ounces. Although this phone is big, the fact that it is fairly thin makes it a little easier to handle. One of the advantages of this larger size is the huge, 4.3-inch display. The larger screen allows you to play games, watch video and surf the Internet comfortably. Another advantage to a larger display is that you also get a larger keyboard. The touchscreen on this phone is responsive and easy to use.
Some additional features that you’ll get with the HTC HD7 include world roaming so you can use your phone when you travel, as well as at home. You will also get a speakerphone, conference calling, voice command, call forwarding, in addition to text and multimedia messaging. A few of the advanced features that come with this smartphone include WiFi, support for 3G, and built in GPS, as well as access to Windows Phone Marketplace so that you can download additional apps.
For multimedia features the HTC HD7 mobile comes with a built in 5-megapixel camera that includes a number of different settings and editing features. Though this camera does come with an auto flash setting, the picture quality isn’t as good as is should be. The camera doesn’t compare to some of the other high-end camera phones, although it will shoot HD video. The quality is much better when taking photos and video outdoors.
The call quality that you get with the HTC HD7 is great. Calls are loud and clear, though the sound quality on the speakerphone isn’t as good. The battery rating for this phone is 6.5 hours of talk time and 14.5 days of standby time.
