Once you start using the HTC Evo 4G you will quickly discover that it is one of the best Android smartphones on the market; this handset is feature rich, and it is a step up from 3G. The only problem with this phone is that you are required to pay an extra $10 for the 4G network, regardless if this network is available in your area.

If you are looking for a small and compact phone, the HTC Evo 4G isn’t for you; this handset is large when compared to many mobile phones of today. The Evo measures 4.8 x 2.6 x 0.5 inches and weighs a hefty 6 ounces. There is no denying that this is a big phone, but one advantage of its large size is the giant, 4.3-inch display that you get with this device. Having a larger screen makes viewing web pages and video a much better experience than what you get with a smaller screen.
Another advantage of having a large screen is that it is a lot easier to send email and text messages. The virtual keyboard is incredibly roomy and easy to use. You can also view video and pictures from your phone, which is even easier with the stand that comes included.
With the Sense interface, the HTC Evo 4G is very easy to use, plus you get several customization options. Some of the features that you’ll get with this phone include a number of Google apps, such as Google Maps, Gmail, and voice to text. You will also get some fantastic multimedia features, such as a HQ YouTube player; with this you can stream HD video from your phone right to your HD TV.
On the front of the Evo is a 1.3-megapixel camera that is used with Quick Video Chat. In addition, there is also an 8-megapixel camera that will record HD video, along with taking high quality photos.
Of course the HTC Evo 4G comes with all of the basic mobile phone features, such as a speakerphone, voice commands, smart dialing, visual voice mail, as well as text and multimedia messaging. You will also get 3G, GPS, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi.
Call quality is incredible with the Evo HTC 4G, and the processor is fast, even with the number of features that are included with this phone. With average use, you will likely have to recharge this phone about every 12 hours, which is basically expected for a phone with a large screen and numerous applications.
The 4G HTC Evo is moderately priced, which is a little surprising considering the advanced features that come with this smartphone. To find an even better price you’ll want to be watching for the HTC Evo 4G deals that are offered occasionally.
