HTC Aria Review

The HTC Aria is a compact and stylish Android smartphone that features the HTC Sense Interface, and a number of extras. Those that like all in one gadgets will love the Aria HTC; this handset comes with a 5-megapixel camera, GPS, as well as WiFi, and support for 3G. When you own an Aria, you’ll have just about everything you need at your fingertips.

With the HTC Aria you’ll get a solid, midrange smartphone with some great features, but one drawback is that it is slightly high priced compared to similar handsets within the same class. While a lot of smartphones are getting bigger, the Aria is still small, measuring 4.1 x 2.3 x 0.5 inches and weighing 4 ounces. Although you won’t get a giant display like what is offered on many of today’s smartphones, the more compact size of the Aria makes it much easier to slip into your pocket and take it with you.

The Aria HTC does come with a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen that is large enough for most uses, plus it is bright and colorful; images are sharp and text is easy to read. With multi-touch capability, you can zoom in so it is even easier to see what’s on the screen.

Even though the HTC Aria is small, it comes with several nice features. As the Aria is an Android phone you’ll get a number of Google features, such as Google Maps, Gmail, and Google Talk. There is also a dedicated YouTube application so you can watch streaming video right from your mobile phone, plus you can stay productive while on the go with the included QuickOffice app. The Aria HTC does not necessarily focus on social networking; there is an app for Twitter. To get more apps the Aria also provides access to the Android Market.

Some of the advanced features that come with the HTC Aria include 3G, WiFi, and a full HTML browser for surfing the Internet. For entertainment this device features a built in media player so that you can listen to music and watch video right from your phone.  In addition, the Aria comes with a 5-megapixel camera, though it is not equipped with flash so taking pictures in dim lighting probably won’t be an option.

The HTC Aria runs fast, you should experience little to no lag when running apps on this phone. The call quality is okay, but you may find there is audible static at times. The battery is rated for 6 hours of talk time and 15.5 days of standby time.

The Aria is a solid Android smartphone that gives you everything you need to be mobile, though it can be a little pricy. To find an affordable price you’ll want to spend some time shopping for the best HTC Aria deals being offered.
