One of its latest releases is the Google Nexus S 4G cellphone which is a fairly high-spec handset and is also the first handset to be released with support for the 4G WiMAX network. All these features combined with its highly competitive price allow it to rival many of the other similar handsets on the market.
As one of Google’s newest models to be released the Google Nexus S 4G comes with a number of great features and facilities that should impress most users.
From a cosmetic perspective the new Google Nexus 4G is quite an attractive cellphone with its slim yet curvy black case which is only 0.44 inches thick and weighs just 4.6 ounces. As with many of the other new smartphones on the market Google has gone for the less is more approach having as few buttons as possible on the handset.
The technical features on the new phone may not be the most advanced currently out there but they are still fairly impressive nevertheless. These features include:
- A 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor that can handle any of the latest apps available in the Android Marketplace.
- A 4 inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display offer deep, rich colors and pure blacks, all of which are viewable from almost any angle.
- Internal storage of 14GB, although it does not come with a memory card slot for external storage.
- The Android 2.3 “Gingerbread” OS with slick, high speed access to apps and a range of great built in features
- A high quality 5 megapixel camera that provide a reasonable quality of picture output and 720 x 480 video output.
- 4G WiMAX network access to allow users to download apps and access the internet at incredibly fast speeds.
The features and benefits that the Google Nexus S 4G offers users make it a device that is ideally suited to both business and personal users alike. The new features that have been added to the Google Nexus S 4G not only make it a great handset for users that are either buying their first smartphone or are looking to change models but will also be a worthwhile upgrade for existing Google phone users.
