With so many different smart phone manufacturers releasing a wide range of devices onto the market, competition has really increased in this field making it more difficult for the smart phone manufacturers who are eager to becoming amongst the most popular. However, one manufacturer, Samsung, has been enjoying great success over the past year with its offering of high tech smart phones.
In fact, according to some industry experts, Samsung is doing really well in the Android smart phone market and has become the preferred choice over rival manufacturers such as Motorola and HTC. With its smart and stylish cell phones with their high tech features, Samsung has made a real impact in the smart phone sector, giving the much loved Apple a real run for its money.
The global consulting firm iGR recently stated that in the Android market Samsung was enjoying the "highest brand preference among consumers" and this was then followed by the likes of HTC, Motorola and LG. The group also said that the quality of the handsets along with the fact that the electronics giant had several different popular handsets on sale with retailers meant that its success came as no surprise.
iGR stated that there are a number of factors that can contribute to the favourite brands amongst consumers, which includes the consumers having owned the same brand of cell phone before in the past and also the "handset display quality and functionality".
