It has been reported that mobile phone giant HTC has decided to change its strategy for the coming year, with a focus on the quality of its new smart phones rather than on the number of smart phones it can churn out.

As most people know, the smart phone industry has become increasingly competitive over recent years, with the various big name smart phone manufacturers regularly churning out new devices in a big to take the lion's share of the smart phone market through high tech phones that all tech savvy consumers will want to get their hands on.

HTC is one of the many manufacturers that has been trying to compete within this competitive sector and like a number of other manufacturers has been guilty of churning out one device after another, often with very little noticeable improvement being seen between the various models that are brought out at various times.

However, HTC has now decided to change its strategy for the forthcoming year according to recent reports. Instead of focussing its attention on getting as many smart phones as possible out there to flood the market, even if they are not really much different to the ones that it has already released, it has decided to focus on a selection of core smart phone of higher quality.

This means that, if the strategy is successful, HTC will end up bringing out fewer smart phones than we might expect, but the ones that it does bring out are likely to be of excellent quality with some great features and benefits.
