Blackberry Tour 9630 Review
By admin on March 2nd, 2010
The BlackBerry Tour 9630 has its focus on the heavy business user. This is a smartphone that is perfect for those who are always on the go, especially if you travel internationally. This is the first global 3G BlackBerry phone, and there are a lot of people who welcomed this feature in a BlackBerry. In addition to this, the BlackBerry 9630 Tour offers some great data speeds; in fact, it is probably one of the best phones available for fast data transfer.
Like most BlackBerry phones, the BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone is aimed at the professional with many tools and features focusing on business, but recently RIM has placed some attention on the entertainment angle as well. With so many business apps, plus entertainment features, the Tour is really a great phone for both personal and business use.
The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is designed to look much like the Bold and the Storm, but it isn’t quite as wide and this makes it a much nicer fit in the pocket, plus it looks sophisticated.
Some of the features you’ll find with the BlackBerry 9630 Tour include support for up to 11 email accounts, and the email feature of this phone is great. You can view attachments, and HTML email. You will also get support for Instant Messaging, and you can go online and interact with Social Networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace. This is really a great all around phone.
You will also get a 3.2-megapixel camera, which is a nice change from what older model BlackBerry phones have offered. The picture quality isn’t perfect, but you’ll find that they are better than what you get with some of the other RIM phones. In addition, the camera does have video recording capabilities, which is a feature that can really be useful when you don’t want to carry around your video recorder.
One of the drawbacks of the BlackBerry Tour is that it does not come with WiFi; if this had been included it would have made this an even better smartphone. Fortunately, 3G does help to make up for the lack of this feature.
The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is not a cheap phone, but you can get it at a discount if you buy the phone in conjunction with a contract. This phone is less expensive than the Bold, and offers almost identical features and even some upgrades.
If you want a smartphone that you can use no matter where you travel, The BlackBerry 9630 Tour is defiantly worth considering; you can surf the Internet, stay productive with business tools, and keep in touch with friends and family, all with one device.
