Blackberry Storm 9530 Reviews

Many BlackBerry Storm 9530 reviews have given this RIM phone lukewarm comments, especially when it has been compared to the iPhone. This is the world’s first click through phone and there is no doubt that it does come with some nice features.
With the BlackBerry Storm you get 3.25-inch glass touchscreen, with SurePress technology. The SurePress technology basically makes the entire screen one big button; this means that you cannot just tap the screen to navigate, you will have to press down to click through. Although this might take some getting used to, within a week or two you should have no problem remember to navigate the screen this way.
The BlackBerry Storm 8530 is smaller than iPhone, measuring 4.4" x 2.4" x 0.55", which really isn’t too bad for size. One feature that music lovers will really like is that this phone comes with a standard headphone jack, which means you can plug in any headphones and they will work; this is one feature that does not come with a lot of smartphones today.
Another welcome feature of the BlackBerry Storm 9530 is its 3.2-megapixel camera that also offers video recording capabilities, but some users might be a little disappointed because the colors are not as brilliant as what you get with iPhones. One advantage that you will find with the Storm over the iPhone is that the BlackBerry Storm comes with auto focus, which makes using the camera easier.
The web browser is better than what you get with a lot of BlackBerry models, but it’s still not as good as Safari. Aside from this, the large screen on the Storm makes viewing web pages much easier, plus it makes for simpler navigation too. You will also find that this phone offers great call quality and reception, with calls coming through loud and clear; unfortunately the same can’t be said when you are using the speakerphone. The sound quality is rough and breaks up.
The BlackBerry Storm 9530 has a great battery life, with average use you should get about 6 or 7 hours before the battery will need recharging. If you are using the features a lot, you may find that it is necessary to recharge a little more often.
Undoubtedly the BlackBerry Storm offers some competition against the Apple iPhone, and it might even be able to beat it out if it were not for the bugs in the Storm’s software. In fact, these bugs are what are stopping this phone from being one of the best smartphones available. If your carrier offers the BlackBerry Storm 8530 at a reasonable cost, then it may be a good option, but if not you will want to look around for a better alternative.
