Blackberry Pearl 8120 Review

The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Black Emerald is another of a long list of BlackBerry models that gives the busy professional exactly what they need to stay productive while on the go. For most professionals, it is important to be able to stay connected by way of email and messages, even while away from the office, which is why BlackBerry smartphones are so popular with these users.

With the BlackBerry 8120 you get everything you need for mobile email and web access so that you can take care of business, even when you are not at your desktop. In addition to all of this you will also get entertainment options, Bluetooth and more. All in a small and compact device that is easy to take with you wherever you go.

The 8120 BlackBerry comes with a QWERTY keyboard so that typing out email and text messages is fast and easy, plus there is a camera and a video recorder. There are several connectivity options available with the 8120 Pearl, including EDGE and WiFi so you should never have a problem finding a way to get online. Once you are connected to the Internet, you can browse the web with a real HTML browser that supports streaming content. You can even get news feeds right to your phone; this makes it easy to stay up to date with the latest in the stock market and more. In addition to this, you can also send instant messages, along with access to your email.

With the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Black Emerald you get support for up to 10 email accounts, as well as access to corporate email in real time. There is also a document viewer so that if you get email attachments you will have the ability to view them; this viewer supports a wide variety of file types including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF, plus many more.

The 2-megapixel camera that comes with this phone has 5 X zoom, as well as a built in flash. By today’s standards the camera isn’t the best you can get, but it does okay for quick snapshots. The phone also has the ability to record video clips, which is always a good feature to have on your handset. With the media player that comes included with the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Black Emerald you can listen to your favorite music or watch a video, and these features come in a small, compact device that you can slip into your pocket.

If you are looking for a serious business smartphone that can also double as a personal mobile, you will want to consider the 8120 BlackBerry. With this phone you get everything you need in a business mobile, and a lot more.

I absolutely love the Blackberry 8120! The size is great. It has faults but if corrected the phone would be worth a 5 star rating from me. The battery life is surprisingly long for a cell phone.

The OS has a little to be desired. the keyboard is not as easy to use as I thought. Sometimes you get too many menusat certain times, but the BB service is spot on. Not a bad phone at all really.
