Some of the upgrades that you’ll find with the BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphone include built in GPS, WiFi, as well as a full HTML browser. The design of this BlackBerry closely resembles that of other Curve models though it is slightly bigger due to the many features this phone has. The BlackBerry 8350i measures 4.4 inches X 2.4 inches X 0.7 inch thick and weighs about 4.7 ounces. It comes with a soft touch finish that makes it nice to hold in your hand.

Although the BlackBerry Curve 8350i is not a touchscreen phone, it does offer a nice display that measures 2.4-inches and provides a brilliant and sharp picture. With the new BlackBerry OS 4.6, the display is even better. One of the best features about the display on the BlackBerry Curve 8350i phone is that it has light sensing technology; with this the brightness of the screen will automatically adjust to accommodate for lighting conditions.
Along with these improvements, the BlackBerry Curve 8350i smartphone is the first push to talk device from RIM to offer WiFi, which is a long awaited feature. Some additional features that you will find with this phone include voice activated dialing, speed dialing, multimedia messaging, and text messaging. You also get an address book that is limited only by the phone’s available memory. There is also a feature that lets you assign a photograph to each contact so that you easily see who is calling you with a quick glance at your display.
With the BlackBerry Curve 8350i you will get a built in satellite assisted GPS system, which is nice when you are in an unfamiliar city and need to find your way around. This GPS system uses maps, as well as a text based turn-by-turn directions, so you will never have to worry about getting lost.
Like most BlackBerry phones there is a lot of emphasis on email, and the 8350i BlackBerry is no different. With this phone you’ll get support for Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino, or Novell GroupWise, so you can have access to your corporate email in real time. In addition, there is a document viewer that will enable you to open and view attachments.
The BlackBerry Curve 8350i is a great phone for both business and personal use, especially with the many upgrades that come with this model, like the WiFi and better operating system.
