Blackberry Curve 8320 Review

Although this is not the first of the BlackBerry line to offer built in WiFi, the BlackBerry Curve 8320 is one of the best. In addition to adding WiFi, with this phone you also get a great keyboard, and a high quality display, along with a multimedia player and a 2-megapixel camera.

The stylish and sleek BlackBerry 8320 is very lightweight at only 3.9 ounces, plus it is thin, measuring 0.6 inches. This smartphone comes in a couple of different colors, pale gold and titanium and its rounded edges give it a softer, less severe look. In addition to this, it also comes with a very spacious keyboard and on the front of the phone there is a 2.5-inch display.

With the 312-MHz processor included, the 8320 BlackBerry performs well so you shouldn’t experience a lot of lag when running the included applications. The camera does take some fairly good pictures, though it is far below what is being included with many of the smartphones of today. It should be adequate for getting that unexpected snapshot, but it won’t replace your stand-alone digital camera.

You will find that the BlackBerry Curve 8320 has some really great qualities, such as multitasking; with this phone you can easily switch back and forth between applications without much or any lag. If you want to browse the Internet while listening to your music, it is not a problem at all. Due to the fact that this phone is primarily targeted toward the business user, the music player wouldn’t compare to what you would get on some smartphones, such as the iPhone, but it is okay, especially if the music player isn’t your primary reason for buying the phone.

Call quality with the BlackBerry 8320 is very good; it switches back and forth from WiFi without any problems, though in certain areas you may experience a dropped call once in a while. For keeping in touch with friends and family through instant messaging, this mobile supports a variety of different Instant Messaging applications, including AOL, Google Talk, ICQ, and Windows Live, as well as Yahoo.

The battery life of the BlackBerry Curve 8320 is rated for 4 hours of talk time and 17 days of standby time, though with average use this phone will probably require recharging more often than this.

The BlackBerry 8320 Curve is a great phone for both personal and business use, and with WiFi, you can use it as your primary phone because you will be able to make many of your phone calls using a hotspot. If you are looking for a high quality smartphone that you can get at a reasonable price, the BlackBerry Curve 8320 is a good choice.

The call quality is excellent probably better than most phones. The screen is big bright with good definition. Keyboard is a qwerty keyboard, the call quality is clear and crisp. The e-mail is excellent which is something i use often, so that is a bonus. Also the Wi-Fi works well. An excellent phone all round.

The phone has some powerful applications it looks sleek and stylish. The Qwerty keyboard is very useful and the e-mail is excellent. One factor that bugs me is no touch screen and no video recording. All in all not a bad phone but has some issues.
