The BlackBerry Bold 9900 4G is Research in Motion’s thinnest smartphone to date with a 640 by 480 resolution 2.8 inch display, 5 mega pixel camera, and 1.2GHz processor. Although the Blackberry Bold 9900 4G is lightweight it still boasts a hefty 8GB of memory which can be increased to 40GB.You will also get the BlackBerry 7 OS, which offers an expeditious browsing experience, effortless navigation, and a collective search feature which is activated with your voice.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 4G also offers fans a pleasurable social experience thanks to the new Blackberry Messenger 6 which was recently launched a few months ago. Messenger 6 comes preinstalled on the BlackBerry Bold 9900 4G and offers improved communications with the capability to chat with friends in a game or within other applications. You can also view applications that your contacts use within their profile. BlackBerry Messenger 6 also offers improved security for your communications and if you use it for business you can take advantage of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 4G measures 4.43 x 2.60 x 0.41 inches, and only weighs about 4.59 ounces. The fact that this phone is smaller than previous BlackBerry models does not mean that the real estate is skimpy. The new technology is faster and the phone is packed with enough features that make you feel as though you are carrying around an electronic wallet. Not to mention the powerful performance of the QC 8655 1.2GHz processor, 756MB RAM 8GB eMMC, and a memory expandable to 40 GB with an optional uSD card. With this type of capacity storing your multimedia files is hassle free.
Of course, another welcome feature is the 4G WiFi which is a flexible 802.11 2.4 GHz b/g/n with access to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Internet Bundle, and direct IP web browsing over WiFi. The battery life is slightly smaller than past RIM devices at 1200 mAh despite the fact that the processing speed has doubled. However the change is barely noticeable and still lasts longer than most smartphones on the market. Some smartphones are incapable of lasting an entire day but the durable battery in the BlackBerry Bold 9900 4G can almost make it through two days with intermittent usage. This is not bad considering the speedy processor and slight build.
Another improvement you will enjoy is the spacious new keyboard on the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Although RIM has been known for its top design with smartphone keyboards this is the best keyboard they have designed. It is substantial and firm for die hard texters with keys that click instead of being too soft like other smartphone keyboards. The backlighting is also superb for performing functions in a dimly lit area.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 combines everything including versatility into one easy to use and portable device. Not only do you get the full keyboard you can also enjoy the convenience of touchscreen capability. The casing is also quite durable with a solid stainless steel shell and a secure rubber backing that resists impact and makes for a sure footing when it comes to performing functions on the device. The stainless steel finish is very high quality which makes for an attractive and functional device for people on the go.
