Blackberry Bold 9650 Review
By Ruben Corbo on July 25th, 2011
With the Bold 9650 you will get a world phone that supports both the CDMA and GSM networks so that you can use your mobile at home and abroad. With WiFi the addition of WiFi and more memory that you get with the Tour, your online experience will be much better. When using the Blackberry Bold 9650, surfing the Internet and watching streaming video should be no problem at all.
Some of the features that you get with the Bold 9650 include GPS and Bluetooth, as well as a number of preloaded apps such as Twitter, MySpace and Facebook. For multimedia features this phone comes with a built in 3.2-megapixel camera that will shoot video as well as take still photos. Although the camera does come with flash, the photo quality is only average at best. The video quality is a little better, but it will not replace your stand-alone video recorder.
The call quality that you get with the Blackberry Bold 9650 is very good, even when using the speakerphone. Surfing the Internet with this phone is easy, the connection speed will not match your home PC, but is fairly good for a mobile connection. The battery that you get with this phone will provide you with approximately 5 hours of talk time and up to 13 days of standby time.
With WiFi and more memory, the Blackberry Bold 9650 is a better smartphone than the tour, plus it is a world phone so you can use it when traveling. If you use your smartphone for business this phone is perfect, offering just about everything you would need to stay in touch while you are on the go. No matter if you use your mobile for business or for personal, the Bold 9650 is a great choice and one of the better Blackberry mobiles.
