iPhone 3G 8GB Review

The Apple iPhone 3G 8GB is the next generation iPhone; this mobile phone is a little differently designed, plus it has a lot of new features. With the new iPhone 3G 8GB you will have access to a faster wireless network, as well as Microsoft Exchange server email. In addition to these features, there is also support for a wide range of third party software. Although the 3G 8GB iPhone still does not have some of the basic features, it is definitely an improvement over the original mobile handset released from Apple.

One of the areas in which the Apple iPhone 3G 8GB seems to have issues is in call performance, having some problems with reception at times. The music and video quality of the 8GB iPhone 3G is fairly good so you will probably not have many complaints with these features.

There really isn’t a lot of difference in design from the original iPhone. The Apple iPhone 3G 8GB is a little thicker than its predecessor, this handset measures 0.48 inches thick, and is 5.5 inches X 2.4 inches and weighs about 4.7 ounces. This mobile comes with a 3.5-inch display with 480x320 pixels that provides brilliant color and sharp images. The home screen is much the same as the original iPhone.

Some of the new features you’ll find with the Apple iPhone 3G 8GB include support for 3G, as well as an upgraded GPS system. You also get more organization features, widgets, and support for YouTube. There is also notepad, visual voice mail, as well as threaded texting. You will also get full support for Microsoft Exchange server and it’s very easy to setup. Of course there is also WiFi, which is great.

The new Apple iPhone 3G 8GB offers a feature called MobileMe. This feature synchronizes from Mac's Mail, and Address Book, as well as iCal applications. There is also support for contacts, calendar appointments, and email messages, in addition to photos, and browser bookmarks.

With this new iPhone from Apple you have access to the application store. All that you have to do is click on iTunes store and you will be taken to the application store. You can look through the most popular applications, or search by category or name.

If you don’t already have an iPhone or would like to take advantage of a fast 3G network, the Apple iPhone 3G 8GB gives you lots of good reasons to buy now. It’s much improved over the original, with lots of features.

The only issues with the 3G iPhone 8GB is that the call reception can have problems, and the price is a little high.

I am very pleased with my iPhone. I did a lot of searching before buying it and found it did all I wanted a camera to do, as well as looking good. Well done Apple.

Getting used to my iPhone was fairly easy, but finding the bad bits was very annoying. Apple usually have a good reputation but this could damage their standing unless they get a hold of it now. they need to iron out the problems quickly.

After buying my iPhone I found a few problems, but none that concern me that much. Just be aware if you buy an iPhone that it has some problems such as battery life short no MMS and I found the keyboard a little small. But there you go, research and make your own mind up.

Nice design, big screen. Problem is it does not hold battery power etc.etc. This is not one of Apples best. Saying that, it has got some good features.

Not one of Apples best projects but with a bit of work it could be Great. Make it MMS compatable, better battery GPS that works longer than about 20 mins before running battery down, and easier keyboard to use, brilliant.

As usual being an Apple fan I think that the iPhone is brilliant. Apple have produced a sleek, good looking phone. It has a few faults but the good stuff outways the bad. It could do with a longer battery life.

I wish I had checked out the iPhone more before rushing to buy it. It was a big disappointment to me. GPS lasts about 15-20 mins Wi-Fi if only turned on runs battery down within approx 4hrs, small keyboard incompatible with MMS, do I have to go on? Very disappointing Apple for your reputation.
